LIGHTWEIGHT RACE ENHANCED VEHICLES

LREV is the name of our project. It is also a term we coined to describe the vehicles we will be building. Essentially, a LREV is an ultra light passenger vehicle fitted with all composite material body (e.g. carbon fibre) instead of the standard steel that most stock cars come in.

It is also equipped with race/rally standard components. These are the vehicles you can take to the tracks for racing on the weekend yet practical and fuel efficient enough to be used for everyday driving.

A LREV is different from a sports car in that it is broader and can encompass different bodytypes (e.g. sedan, hatchback, convertible, etc.) It is also more performance biased than a GT.

Therefore the five golden rules for a vehicle to be classified as a LREV are:

1) All composite material body
2) Track capable (performance components comes standard)
3) Road legal (e.g. must adhere to the safety standards required by law)

4) Minimum four passengers or more (driver included)
5) Adhere to the strictest level of emmision required by law for mass produced vehicles (although the LREV is not mass produced)

This is the kind of cars that GOY will build in collaboration with our partners. So if you would like to see this project become a reality, click HERE now to see how you can get involved.
